Who Went

Ashleigh	I am 17 years old and have always wanted to travel to Africa . This is going to be a great opportunity to see a developing country and experience a completely different culture and I am really looking forward to it.
Ashleigh	I am 16 years old and I am currently doing my GCSE’s. I am an enthusiastic member of the team and hope to do very well in life.
Jane	I am 16 years old. I am currently studying English Language, Chemistry and Maths at A level. I am a quiet person but I am looking forward to the experience.
Kate	I am 17 years old and have been looking forward to this trip all year. I have enjoyed all of the fund raising and the group work and now I can’t wait to get there.
Kevin	I am a lively member of the team, I am 17 years old, and I am currently studying physics, chemistry and philosophy and ethics at A level.
Laura	I have been looking forward to this trip since it was announced last October. We have all worked well as a group to organise so many events and to raise so much money. Thank you to everyone who has helped.
Lauren	I am 17 years old and I really looking forward to going to Ethiopia . I have read so much about it over the last few months I can’t wait to see what it is really like.
Rachel	I am 17 and currently taking geography, English language, Graphics and Business Studies. I am a chatty person and I am looking forward to a new experience.
Robert	I am 17 years old and I am really looking forward to our trip. I am particularly keen to see how the playground project works out and to see how happy the children will be with all their new equipment.
Ruth	It has been a long time to wait but we will soon be there. It has been an excellent experience organising this trip, raising the money and finding out about where we will be going and what we will see. Thanks to everyone for their help.
Anna	Expeditions have been an important part of my life since I was at school. I am looking forward to seeing our pupils experience a real adventure. I am also looking forward to exploring the wildlife of Ethiopia .
Joe	I am a teacher of Business Studies at Ryton and I am really looking forward to going and watching the students take it all in.
Siobhan	I have just returned from a trip to central America where I was the medical support for a group of young people who went into the jungle. I have been to Ethiopia before and know how much the group will enjoy their time.
Richard	Having been to Ethiopia I think I know what to expect. But I am really looking forward to seeing how much the group will gain from the trip and seeing how much the children from the hospital will enjoy playing on the new equipment. Thank you all for your support.
